If an opportunity comes up and you’re a little nervous about it, give it a shot. You could wait forever for the perfect time. We spend so much time thinking about the worst case scenario, but we need to give the best case scenario some thought, too. When we only focus on what could go wrong, we limit what we allow ourselves to experience by SO MUCH. One of my favorite things about these runs is seeing people who’ve never run before realize they can do more than they thought. Life can get stressful and chaotic, but how we respond matters. Getting outside with a friend, exploring a new park, and exercising are just a few of the simple things we can do to clear our heads and put things into perspective. Those moments are SO worth making time for.
