If you’ve been waiting until you feel confident to start… this is your reminder. 🤍 For a long time, I thought confidence had to come first. I would overthink how I looked, how I sounded, what people might say, or whether I was “qualified” enough to share. What I’ve learned over the years is that confidence doesn’t usually come before action, it grows because of it. Every time you show up, you’re teaching your brain that it’s safe to do it again. Whether it’s posting your first video, applying for the job, starting a wellness journey, or speaking up in a meeting, confidence isn’t something you magically wake up with. It’s built through repetition. A few things that have helped me: - Stop aiming to be perfect. Aim to be helpful. - Focus on the one person your message could encourage instead of everyone who might judge you. - Remember that people are usually thinking about themselves far more than they’re thinking about you. - Let your mission be louder than your fear. I still have moments where I overthink before I hit “post.” The difference is that I don’t let those thoughts make the decision for me anymore. If you have something on your heart to share, someone out there might need exactly what only you can say. Keep showing up. The confidence will follow. 🤍
