Try new things My experience • I started snowboarding two years ago • I instantly fell in love with it • It became one of my favorite winter activities • I never would’ve known that without trying Why this matters • You don’t discover new strengths by staying comfortable • You can’t know what you enjoy if you never explore • Growth often comes from unfamiliar experiences • Learning about yourself requires action What this taught me • You’re capable of more than you think • Interests and passions can surprise you • Trying something once can change a whole season of life How you can apply it • Say yes to something new this year • Try an activity you’ve never done before • Don’t worry about being good at it • Focus on learning, not perfection
